How to get out of a funk
There are a few ways to get out of a funk and different ways are to be used depending on your situation at the moment.
In a work environment getting rid of a funk caused by work can be challenging but in that instance, it’s simply a matter of changing your mental focus. Find something that motivates, inspires, or captivates you and put your energy into just focusing on that!
Why are you going to work? Is there anything that you are saving for? When is your next day off? It can be anything but it has to give you new inspiration.
At home whenever I feel a little off, I just put my ipod on and listen to an uplifting, motivational, and inspirational audio or read a good book. Sometimes I try to get a mini workout in just to break up the routine such as Crossfit or do a few Sun Salutations.
Every now and again we get in little funks and it’s mostly caused by what we are thinking of. The simplest way is to recognize that you are in a funk and then doing anything to change your mental focus!
