I just read an article by
Grant Cardone (click here to see it) in which he was talking about the world
cup and how in some games you may see a score of 1 – 0.
On the surface, you can
say it only takes 1 to win the game or to use another metaphor it only takes
one sperm to do the job.
What you don’t see is the
number of shots attempted, or in the case of sperm all the other millions that
don’t make it.
Applying this to business
and life, it takes trying something multiple times in order to make it. Thomas Edison attempted 10,000 times, and I’ve
read other accounts where it was closer to 14,000 attempts to invent the incandescent
light bulb.

14,000 attempts to invent
one product that went and changed the world!
Think about that in your
own business and life. Are you giving up
too early when you just simply haven’t tried enough times?
I know I used to be in
that same boat! Thank you again Grant Cardone for the inspiration (Click here to see his Youtube channel).
